A smile that reflected the reward of hard work.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga successfully conducted a payout to the partner beneficiaries of Project LAWA at BINHI on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in the municipalities of Buenavista and Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte.

A total of 748 beneficiaries received their compensation of Php7,700 each, with 449 from Buenavista and 299 from Las Nieves.

The compensation received was computed based on the regional minimum wage of Php385 at the time the work and financial plan was approved. This amount was multiplied by 20 workdays, resulting in a total of Php7,700 per beneficiary.

DSWD Field Office Caraga continues to exert its utmost efforts to facilitate the early release of payouts, in recognition of the dedication and hard work of its partner beneficiaries.
